Is this XFree86 4.* or 3.*?
/usr/sbin/chkfontpath returns a list of the installed font paths - and
doesn't mention unix:/7100.
Don't know where that one comes from, so I can't compare.

Secondly, XGetFontPath returns the string unix
(for example, can
be written a font as gtkrc), find a font whether a list
has the font name which is specified or not. if a list
has it, decide a default font, if not, uses a first entry
on a list as default font.
I don't get this at all, sorry.

The main question now is: What do we do about Gtk 2.0 in Dia? Do we
make a branch for the conversion? Do we use a HAVE_GTK_2_0 macro (as I
have done so far)? Do we ignore it till
-level formats.
Old binaries will not be able to handle any extended versions we make, but
after a recompile, they should be happy. Thus, this will be the binary
incompatibility to end all binary incompatibilities:)

This does not include the arrowhead change yet. That has turned out to be
somewhat more involved to get right.

Do you mean that there is a mechanism for a user to
write such logic? Is this documented - what is it
called? Or, are you suggesting that a developer of dia
could write the required logic?
It'd be for a developer of Dia to write.

And no, the prettier arrows are not in general use yet. I'm keeping the
code around, but not using it until the above problems are solved.
