Hi Andy,
> Very interesting. Full JNOS applications , nodes, BBS ??
Yes.
The new 'psk' port is just another AX25 interface as far as JNOS
is concerned. From a user point of view, the port looks no different
than a kiss attached TNC (attach asy) or an AXUDP/AXIP interface.

Greetings,
JNOS 2.0 is now able to use MultiPSK (by F6CTE) as a digital modem.
* It does this by connecting to it over tcp/ip.
For complete details and instructions, visit the link below :

This is a prototype - expect bugs. Feedback is more t
Good morning to all,
I should know better than to post this, but I'm going to anyways.
Had I known this was going to cause such an uproar, I never would
have posted the fact that I was sitting on 14.109 USB, waiting for
people to connect to my fully attended station. It was just sitting
there doi
Good morning,
I've left my system on 14.109 USB running Q15X25 through
the soundmodem software. My settings are the same as what
you guys are using for MixW, EXCEPT the following :
FEC = 3
I noticed the MixW default is 15,5 (I wonder if that's the
equivalent of 3 for soundmodem). I don't kno
Hi,
I've already mentioned soundmodem for linux and any flavor
of NOS or WAMPES (if I am correct) that has KISS or MKISS.
The Windows version of the soundmodem stuff requires the
flexnet32 software. There is also a packet terminal software
called Paxon that interfaces with FlexNet.
I have not us
Rick,
I noticed you trying to login. You have to login using your
callsign, 'kv9u', use your name as a password. Then at the JNOS
prompt type in 'conv'.

Hi Guys,
I'm hearing some Q15X25 on 14.109 USB now. It's around 10:30 am
central standard time. If anyone wants to, you can connect to my
JNOS system (telnet www.langelaar.net), then go into CONVERS, that
way we can chat as we go type of thing. I may not be around all of
the time, but I'll try to

That explains all the RTTY then. I was wondering about that.
Very strong signals here in Winnipeg, and they're all over the
place (quite frustrating actually). The band is not very useable
right now if one is trying to exp
Hi Andy,

Check out the following article, it's not that lengthy :

Hi Rick,
Okay, getting somewhere (finally). Just need to get my HF rig
out of *storage* and hook it up to an antenna. All I have right
now is 20 meters, nothing else (sorry). We'll have to try this
during the day then - tommorrow sometime if possible ?
I setup another test box, running Slackware
Rick,
> I am set up with Q15X25 tonight. Anyone willing to test this ?
At some point, I would like to try this mode. I remember it from
several years ago. It looked very promising at the time. There was
an excellent article posted on the internet years ago about it, but
I just can't seem to find
Hello Patrick,

That would be very nice (if you think it's an okay idea).
This will be easy. It's just a matter of passing incoming
kiss frames to an existing KISS handler function. It will
take no time at all th
Okay,
I now have an 'attach multipsk ...' command on my JNOS system,
and a receiver process to handle the incoming data.
So NOW the fun part begins. How do *we* want to do this ?
It's very easy for me to make it so that we can use JNOS + multipsk
modem to pass RAW ip over HF - I already have a R

Good day to everyone,
I am new to this group - could not help but notice JNOS mentioned.

Believe it or not, using MultiPSK
Good day to all,
I figured it's time I posted this. Since October of last year, I've
become the new custodian so to speak for the JNOS software. The URL
for this software is as follows :

JNOS is a somewhat monolithic application for amateur radio digita
Greetings,
I am located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Running a DXP38 (pactor 1) and looking for one or more
people to try and connect to my system and tell me what

server side of the HF digital support that I have added
to JNOS 2.0. Any he
