FWIW I am slowly moving towards using TCP/IP for inter-program communication with a pure text-based protocol (very similar to Telnet). Dave of DXLabs uses DDE to talk with HRD, I'll keep the DDE side of things going. I agree that it's a shame that we don't have a standard for inter-program
