Hello all! I'm looking for information regarding the use of
interaction design in humanitarian work. I've read about UNICEF
running occasional challenges
(http://mobileactive.org/usaids-development-2-0-challenge-mobile-innovation-and-winner),
but are there any more NPO's that do this kind of thing?
I ran into this video showing a Windows interface concept designed by
a guy called Cullen Dudas. There's really no information of it
besides from what's shown in the video, but from what I can tell, it
looks fresh and innovative (eye candy). I'll let you critique the
technical stuff.

In this case, I think that the biggest setback with change is that most
people find annoying the process of re-learning to navigate.
To me their thoughts are somewhere around here - "We're all so used to the
old design, so what's the need for change?"
