Hello Henry, Adding functionality to dropdowns is something we explored quite a bit on a project I worked on for E*Trade. One function we developed was the ability to add new items to the drop down list. We placed the function for adding a new item at the bottom of the list in parentheses.

I think it would be great to have a little description of the purpose and benefits of the site (besides the phrase up there). Also to tell the benefits from a random people test or no thanks would be useful too for non-experienced designers in usability test . I like the colours and graphics!
