Hello,
My name is Matt and I am the creator of the fivesecondtest.com
website. Last month we rolled out http://beta.fivesecondtest.com and
we have since been actively making improvements based on user
feedback.
I am hoping to get some feedback from the greater UX community that

Larry, thanks for the NASA visual design links. These resources will be
very helpful on a project I'm just getting going with. All the best,

Looking for some real-world practice?
Methinks this open-source microblogging client for GNOME could use

Wouldn't it be nice to microblog with your friends (Twitter) and your

Hello Henry,
Adding functionality to dropdowns is something we explored quite a
bit on a project I worked on for E*Trade.
One function we developed was the ability to add new items to the
drop down list. We placed the function for adding a new item at the
bottom of the list in parentheses.
I'm getting a 503 Service Not Available error from your site. Any
ideas why?

When it comes to designing, is anyone here greatly influenced by
things outside of what we normally design? By this, I mean primarily

I'm a avid musician - I've been making music longer than I've been

First, I want to say that my recent post on JohnnyHolland.org
(http://johnnyholland.org/magazine/2009/04/function-to-connection/)
relates to this in so far as to looking to art as the source/soul of
design.
More personally, I have looked a lot to traditional craft, art

I think it would be great to have a little description of the purpose
and benefits of the site (besides the phrase up there).
Also to tell the benefits from a random people test or no
thanks would be useful too for non-experienced designers in
usability test .
I like the colours and graphics!
Apologies for unexpected outage, we are still ascertaining what went
wrong with our host, but the site should be back up for now.

The site is a nice idea, however I did view a few bogus designs. You
should maybe monitor the uploaded designs or users will get
frustrated.

Hi Matt,
I have tried to help to do the test but there's some errors there on
the website.
Please help me to set up an account if you still need someone to do
the test.Thanks!
