A huge +1 for María. She is what OSGeo needs to move forward into
diversity and expand our network to new communities. We all want a more
inclusive OSGeo family! Don't we?

I definitely second this nomination. Santiago is one of the most important
members of the OSGeo-es community. I can't believe he is not a charter
member.
I'll be there! And we also have Jorge Baptista (aka PB) who is member of
the organizing committee of CubaConf. We both have been members of OSGeo
for many years.
We will talk about OSGeo, local chapters, microchapters, OSGeo Live and we
are also planning a workshop with some foss4g tools.
Hope
+1 for Oscar.
He is one of the most active contributors to the FOSS4G in Argentina. He
has built several tools to help different organisations (mainly government)
to adopt the free software and replace their dark side tools. This is the
kind of guys we need to evangelice about what we do.
On
+1 for this nomination, Javier is a very active member of OSGeo-es and our
local community. He has worked very hard to create the FOSS4G geoportal for
the Municipalidad de Lanús.

I second this nomination.
Gonzalo is one of the leaders of the OSM community in Argentina and the
whole region. I think it's very important to join forces between both
communities to spread the word about open software and open data in every
single event, conference or meetup. All of us are

I'd prefer a new mailing list for these, but, it sounds like an awful lot

+1 to the Ráfagas in a new mailing list.
Wow!!! Thank you so much folks!
With all these examples plus what I've found digging the internet I have
around 20 use cases of FOSS4G applied to water management around the world.
I guess that's good enough, I'll show the people that FOSS4G rocks!
Thanks again,

Hi everyone,
I've been invited to the 15th Water Web Summit [1] as an OSGeo
representative to talk about FOSS4G projects related to water management.
I'll talk about OSGeo and local communities, and I would like to show some
successful use cases.
I have been googling a lot and also asked help
Hello everybody,
I'm writing on behalf of the FOSS4G conference committee to be held in Buenos
Aires next year.
The event is being organized by the group Geoinquietos Buenos Aires which is
a kind of argentinian OSGeo microchapter.

Hello everybody,
I would like to nominate Gabriel Roldán.
Gabriel is core developer for Geosever and Geotools and has been involved in
FOSS4G since 2003 (or even before).
He also has collaborated with gvSIG and some other projects.
I really think he is one of the most important FOSS4G

certifications [2]?
I think they are doing a good work on that and we can follow the idea.

I need to generate a layer with all the company customers and to show

Does anybody know about a middleware, tool, something that could help me
