I suspect that the problem is specific to the SB1. We expect the output of any of our transcoding helper applications to be 44.1KHz, 16-bit, stereo PCM (the only PCM format supported by the SB1 hardware). I'm guessing that flac is providing us with 24-bit samples, and SlimServer doesn't yet
