the current fix in the 6.1 nightlies should properly disable tracks. You just
can't re-enable them once it has gone through marking them as disabled.

I have noticed issue 2, since I upgraded to 6.0.2 I think After
letting SB2 play for some time, it lags in song name!
So I have it now showing song 4 of CD 3 while the display says song 8

I'm wondering why nobody else is noticing this?

Is Slimserver truly reading the MP3 tags or does it create it's music

yes, it definitely does use the tags. Only when no valid tags can be found,
will it then use something based on directory structure and matching the
Oh yeah - wireless strength 82%, and has always worked fine in this

Is it just me or is the track search forward and backward unusable. If I

Yes Dondi I wiped the cashe and did a rescan manually.
I am doing this now whenever I add new music as the standard rescan
seems a bit buggy to me.

Well, I was thinking of implementing software based FIR filters in the

Should be pretty easy, just set it up as a transcoder
and pipe the output of your main decoder, flac, etc.

FLAC is a free, open source compression technique/format
