An easier way to caller ID? I feel your pain. In truth though, the
Savard Soft YAK integration is really very easy to implement if you
have hardware that is supported in YAK. Worth a look IMO.

Slimserver that its music folder was where iTunes keeps it's database
(the 'xml' file) then I got the 'use iTunes' switch' without which not
much happens with iTunes - doh!!! (should have read the FAQ that came
with Slimserver
If the platinum doesn't grow on you, you could always send it back and
get a full refund or probably an exchange from SlimDevices. That's
what the 30 day returns policy is there for after all. I'd be
interested to see how this works in the UK, though.

I thought I would play with the remote mappings a bit on my SB2 remote,
but my changes seem to have no effect, even though I have restarted
slimserver. In case my new mapping was invalid, I also tried
*disabling* the hold-pause-to-stop function by commenting out this
line: pause.hold = stop.
I always just turn it off and just walk away. I use SqueezeNetwork 100%
of the time. When I walk away I have not logged off or anything, I just
press the power button to turn it off.
When I return I turn it on and it has a message on screen complaining
it cannot connect to the SqueezeNetwork
