I have a similar problem. Of the 4300+ songs in my database, I have 34
files that show up as No Artist, No Album. I am using iTunes as my

In the last few days started getting severe dropouts on streaming mp3

Even if it technically worked on the treo, it wouldn't be fun as that skin
is optimized for the Nokia's high resolution

Do you use a router? I often find that by rebooting routers, (unplug
em)etc the issue goes away. Also, update the firmware.
Im not an expert but somehow resetting the IP stack with netsh command
works too. This might be a placebo though.

I've made a few new playlists referencing existing music in the
SlimServer database and music repository but I can't get SlimServer 6.3
to pick them up.
My SS is set rescan every night but it's been three nights now and
still my new m3u playlists do not show in the SS interface or via the
remote.
is radio 5 live (BBC radio via AlienBBC) not playing most of the games,
or at least the England Games.

It's just struck me,
for me at least, it would be very useful if I could get SlimServer to
scan Playlists only. I make playlists in Foobar2000 and save them to
the Playlists directory used by SlimServer.
To get SlimServer to pick up the playlists I have to rescan my whole
music collection...
I do use a router/firewall but I don't that's the problem as rebooting
doesn't help and streams work fine when played directly through
mplayer. I doubt it's a resource issue either as dropouts appear with
Squeeze Network which obviously doesn't go through my pc.

Hi,
The on-the-fly transcoding of my slim server suddently stopped
working someday after I upgraded to 6.2.2. I reinstalled 6.2.1
, 6.2.2, and 6.3.0, none of them worked anymore.
I created a z:\audio folder , with only 3 files: 1.mp3,
1.ape, and 1.wav and let this folder to be the slimserver's
