I've got a pair which I am very happy with.
I got them from ecodigital.co.uk and they were very helpful when I had
to return my first pair due to a slight issue.
They do the A5 and the A2 although they only appear to have the A5 in
stock at the moment.

I have some field recordings by certain artists that I'd like to
appear as a group at the end of the artist listing.
I've tried to use an ASCII character that sorts after the letter Z to
get these to list as a group but Slimserver just ignores the special
character and lists them alphabetically.
You can also run the scanner from the command line (and therefore from a
script) if you want. I've built it into the script which copies files
around my system at the end of the ripping process...

I've been running SC 7.0 on Ubuntu for a couple of months now. When I
first installed it, everything worked fine. Random mix worked as it
did on 6.5.x, as in it initially selected 11 tracks, and kept adding
tracks so you'd always have 10 future tracks ahead of your current

From looking around the forums I need to find an this player can be
synchronized with other players option under 'Audio' settings for one
of my players in the SlimServer UI or using the remote of the SB3
itself.
Server Settings - Look for new and changed music.
That should only take a couple minutes.

(I can't remember exactly what it is called in the english version)
the new music will be added immediately. Just browse to the directory
where you put the music and start playing.

First, you cannot sync to stream.mp3
Secondly, some special stream such as AlienBBC will not play to
stream.mp3.
So to avoid these issues use an audio file or an mp3 stream when
testing stream.mp3

As long as the hostname slim is in some sort of hosts file on each
client or there is a local dns that url will work. Without some sort
of nameserver or lookup file the url will have to use the IP address.
From there KDF is spot on. Once the stream is created you will have to
use the web
