[slim] Sequencing ALBUMS within ARTIST

I have some field recordings by certain artists that I'd like to appear as a group at the end of the artist listing. I've tried to use an ASCII character that sorts after the letter Z to get these to list as a group but Slimserver just ignores the special character and lists them alphabetically.

Hi, If you choose the Browse music library or Browse by folder (I can't remember exactly what it is called in the english version) the new music will be added immediately. Just browse to the directory where you put the music and start playing. Bjørn -- bhaagensen

As long as the hostname slim is in some sort of hosts file on each client or there is a local dns that url will work. Without some sort of nameserver or lookup file the url will have to use the IP address. From there KDF is spot on. Once the stream is created you will have to use the web
