The iPeng 1.1.1 update is available on the AppStore since yesterday.
1.1.1 is mainly a service release targeted at fixing some issues with
wakeup from standby and crashes upon rearranging/deleting tracks from
the current playlist.
It does have two additional features, though:
- IRBlaster volume

I have a substantial number of mpc (musepack) files and after I updated
to 7.3 this is what happens: I choose an album, it plays the first track
for 1 sec and skips to the next one, then it plays second track for 1
sec and skips, but then the third track plays fine. After the third
track is played
I don't know enough to be able to read the logs but I suspect you have

I run SC 7.3.2 on WinVistaPro 64 bit - and it's always been rock stable.
I had not run Squeezeplay for a while though, and upn trying to open it
today, I get a nigfty report telling me that
"jive has stopped working" - and that is that.
Anyone has any pointers as to what could have caused this? I
sorry, was a bit confused by your original post that you actually wanted
the audio to output from the PC.
bephillips gave spot on advice. If you don't want digital out, my
expectation is that running squeezeplay is going to be an easier
solution for you. Then you can control the flow of music out

Thank you, I will look at that now. Here is my set up.
Squeezebox Classic, Current Software version, MacBookPro, 1TB World
Edition NAS HD with an additional 1TB Slave Drive connected via USB 2.0
through the expansion port. The 1TB Main drive is connected via Ethernet
to my FIOS Wireless G router.
Thanks. After writing the post and came back to the Transporter and saw
that was an option. It's working great!

When you say " sees it " do you mean it is in the correct path to your
Music Folder and Playlist when you look in Basic Settings? Tell us more
about your set up.

Have a look at the scanner.log file (there is a link to it via the web
interface - Settings/Information about halfway down the page). Start a
scan and watch the log file - what error messages do you see? Post a
chunk up here and that should enable someone to tell you what's going
on.

Try adding --retry to your squeezeslave command line. That message
indicates that SS has lost connection to squeezecenter and has exited.

ESPECIALLY not an iphone. I consider phones disposable now. I will sync

both while on the road. That way when this $35 Samsung dies as phones

Bit of a bump. I used to use telcanto on a HTC phone. It did the job but
