Yes, I bought it when it was new, more than two years ago.
Some household "members" insist that they noticed a strange electronic
smell recently. Don't know if this helps any to pinpoint the problem.
Otherwise, I might have to go with the route of buying a used one.

Yes, there is a less than a 1% difference in the min to max compression
ratio for FLAC. All setting are lossless. I use 5 it's in the middle.
You should get something like a 30% reduction in the size of your music
from WAV. But it depends a lot on the music.

Guys, I plan on ripping my CD library soon but I have had to rip CD's
down until now.
First of all, does it matter what software I use to perform the
transfer. I have media monkey and just tried one CD to FLAC and it went
very well. THe only issue I see is that the CD once ripped is 589MB
which i

Doesn't seem to be a forum for the Classic, but I'm wondering...what is
the max resolution supported by the Classic? Also, can you use iPENG to
control the Classic?

We have Tivos on each TV in the house. I run a little app called pyTivo
on the linux server which serves up any videos I have there to the Tivos

i think boxee is exactly what you're looking for but you be the judge.
The best part about it is that it's free so you have nothing to lose by

I used to see this when I had softsqueeze or squeezelsave synced with

Nice - I saw the original news story but didn't realize the crash was
caught on tape. What an idiot... talking on the phone and just drove

I too see some of these 'clipped' ends of songs, there seem to be more
of them on mp3s than on FLAC. So I am slowly re-ripping those CDs that
were originally ripped to mp3 to FLAC, a slow process but seems to get
rid of the premature end.
