Is it possible to play music that is streaming through my squeezebox classic v3 in the lounge thru the squeezebox radio in my kitchen? I can see what is playing on the squeezebox classic v3 via the display on the SB radio control the music i.e. skip tracks etc but how do I get music to come thru

[slim] server 7.5.2 does not recognize player

I have been trying to get squeezeslave working for a while (on ubuntu) and I keep getting the above error. (./squeezeslave-lnx26-ubuntu: No such file or directory) Has anyone else come across this and or got a solution? Strace was not much help in identifying what it was trying to open:

Not sure if the clear and rescan is what's causing my problems too. I frequently get no album art until I do a Flush Cache. Additonaly, when I launched it a moment ago, it showed all my albums (at least the ones I tried) as empty, with an image of an empty CD case where the album art

Optical is fine on my SB3 on 7.5.2 You could try a Xilinx reset, as a long shot. :( SB3 Xilinx Reset: Unplug power, press and hold down the one (1) button on the remote, plug power back in (whilst continuing to hold down the one button) -- toby10

I find it very unattractive to be unable to connect to Napster or ShoutCast through mysqueezebox.com on certain holidays, too. I am surely not willing to pay about 200 € for a Squeezebox or even 1700 € for a Transporter that will not be able to connect to my Napster to go Flatrate or ShoutCast

Several years ago I had sync issues that weren't resolved until I disabled a number of unused plug-ins. I'm not sure if the problem would resurface today with all the changes made to improve performance, but I see no reason to risk it so I continue to run SBS as lean as I can. -- GeeJay

What OS ? Does sbs have permissions to write to Q:\SQUEEZEBOX PLAYLISTS Settings advanced file types What is your setting for Disabled Playlist File Extensions ? What is your setting for. Disabled Audio File Extensions is it m3u,pls if it is you may suffer from this bug.
