Haven't tried to capture stream info and see how easy or difficult it
would be to extract stream info. Thought I'd share the source and see
if anyone else scratches that itch first.

My only thought with that though is I would need to leave my iPhone
around for people to select songs. Unless I nip out and buy an iPad
especially but that seems a bit unnessecary!

Some moore issues I have
When running SqueezePlay the screen on my phone (HTC DHD) never turns
completly off, it just dim down
And if I turn screen off manually it turns on again every time it
changes to a new song

I was thinking of moving my squeezebox boom into my bedroom and using
it as an alarm clock (squeezeplug server connected) and moving my SB3
into the kitchen.
The SB3 would be connected to an amp (Creek audio analogue stereo amp)

This is probably not the best place for this topic but I can't find a
specific section for Classic related subjects.
I had the issue where the firmware for SBS and mysqueezebox.com were
different and resulted in the player trying to update its firmware
everytime they were switched on.

don't have a remote control (yet), so didn't implement listening to
these function. Maybe an App like SqueezeCommander listens to these
buttons

This is a fine sub-forum for the question. For the date and time,
double-check both the screensaver and the brightness settings for when
the SB3/Classic is off. They may have gotten un-set by accident when
you upgraded. You need to do this separately for SBS and mysb.com.
