Big Screen for great Boxes available now at your AppStore: *'Squeezebox
+ iPad = SqueezePad ' (www.squeezepad.com)* -
Seems a little pricey as well @ GP400 / $650 vs a Touch less than half
that cost.

I have found that if I play something, then go and do something else.
When I come back to play an album the app needs killing then
re-starting or I just get the spinning wheel constantly after starting
play, very annoying.

Well, some things fall away in one browser, e.g. a lot of the skins.
Personally, I believe one browser is a good thing but I also see how

Currently there is no way to have squeezeslave do what you'd like. It
requires the index number.
Another forum member created a 'bash script'

That's great!
The portaudio version didn't work on my popcorn hour A-110 either.
It found the device but squeezeslave hung trying to open it.

I know Pandora does not stream higher than 128 and the same with Sirius.
I have a premium ( highter bit rate) with Sirius and yet it still only
streams at 128. So my question is.. Why bother paying for a premium
subscription for both of these services if all you do is stream them to
your SB???

Hi pippin,
I stayed with 7.3.4 because it operates flawlessly, and also because I
have no Touch or Radio that would require 7.5.x.
+1
I also have a lot of CLI stuff I wrote around the 7.1/7.3 days. I
remotely maintain the music system in 3 households besides mine.

Yep have the internet option and that is where I am able to hear, I
ASSUME, is 192 as opposed to 128 bit rate. Yet when I log into Sirius
from my Touch and check the info it shows it streaming at 128. Seeing
how Sirius nickel and dimes everything I would not doubt they charge
another fee for

Prior to their new interface, one had the option to switch between
standard and preimum and the difference was noticable. However that
option is no longer there so it is possible they no longer stream at
192. Which sucks as I didnt get any refund for NOT getting the
preimum sound...
Oh well..
agree. My only real reason for sirius/xm is radio in the car. If I
didn't want the car radio, I'd not subscribe. At home I rarely actually
listen to sirius. edit: p.s. I can say that now I recall that my
premium streaming with XMradio did give my 128 instead of 64 (or was
it 96). So maybe
Good point since it never said what the preimum bit rate was. All I know
is the premimum sounds much better than standard. I just assumed
DOH...
Oh well still no point it paying them for what I can get elsewhere for
free. I don't care about it in my car, so bye bye...
Thank you again for

Are you sure there is no widget you forgot on one of your home screens?
Yes I am.
Look at the screenshots...

No need for screen shots. I believe you. It's just that I have just
finished supporting different player for each widget and I forget many
of them on different home screens.
Is there a tool you use to get images of all home screens at once?
Has Squidget crashed before you run into this scenario?
You have mail.

There are several systems available like this one

Note this is not the only one, and I do not work for the company or
anything related. It's a neat clean design (IMO) and suffices for
browsing and the task you have in mind. (I'd still rather build my own

Hmm, no, that was Gimp-ery.
But it's possible to get a preview of all home screens when using the
Gingerbread launcher.

A new version of Whitebear Media Server v2.1 has been released!!
This version includes the following improvements:
- Faster transcoding throughput.
- Compatibility settings dialog added to allow customisation of
behaviour with different control points.
- Improved support for streaming PCM

I am interested in acquiring a Tascam HD-P2 which records in .bwf file

If not, is there any kind of utility to convert them to flac? (88.2

Thanks in advance for any help,

Easiest way to make both simple and complex playlists is to use the FREE
version of Winamp and simply save the resulting playlist (m3u) files to
your Slimserver music folder. You can also easily drag selections up
and down within the Winamp playlist editor to change their order within
the
Windows media player will let you create playlists and save them in m3u
format.
