IMHO the major problems with squeeze stuff has been engineering and

The Squeezebox system is a client-server networked music player, heavily

You have to see that actually except for Logitech's all the Android Apps
are really phone Apps only, I'm not sure how good they are on a 10

Maybe Logitech haven't released theirs for 10.1, either?

It's a bummer the SB line has been dropped, but I'm not planning to jump
ship and try some other product anytime soon. My various SBs still work,
and I expect them to continue working for a long time to come. The

I've always though the Slimdevices buy-out was the scheme of a Logitech

the Google TV epic fail, I expect 'streaming' was the kiss of death to
careers in Logitech.
Logitech completely threw away everything they had. Loyal
IMHO Logitech just don't know how to exploit the SB line's true
potential. Why ? Because they are a hardware company. To reach mass
market the high end capability offered by FLAC capable streaming needs
to be built into some product by recognised hifi manufacturers. Instead

One should note that SqueezeCommander seems to be orphaned by it's
author. I have several reports from users that say that flatterman
doesn't respond to support requests
Not sure about how much people can contact SqueezeCommander's author but
the app updated in the last week.
What's in this version:
- Fixed a stupid bug that caused frequent reconnections when using the
same SBS as local and remote server
- Fixed trackstat ratings in context menus
- Enabled
Any difference in apps availability between the 2 operating systems?
Thanks

Sorry, I _still_ don't understand what you mean with Apps.
If you talk about stuff like Spotify, MOG et al. They are pretty much
the same as on the Squeezebox and also look pretty much the same, at
least on the device.
I bought both apps (Squeeze Commander and Orange Squeeze) and both of
them work great. So you should not be disappointed by the functionality,
polish, and aplomb of either app. For me, however, I found that in
actual use Squeeze Commander was unintuitive and therefore I use Orange

It depends on what you want the app to do, I suspect. All I want from an

see the tiny screen, even if it were angled at the correct position). I
