Its rips to mkv, I've got a roku xs with the plex channel installed,
plugged into tv, also got plex app on phones/tablet for streaming there

If you have multiple players and use hi bitrate lossles files you should
definitely wire the server .
I would consider using wifi for an LMS server .

I shut the server down and restarted my Imac, this seems to have cleared
things up (fingers crossed). I toggled through the sync settings on all
three players just in case a shuffle setting was engaged. The weird
part was that half the time it would shuffle the songs to the current
playlist. Ot
I've been having the same thoughts about USB displays - both touch and
non. They are much cheaper than hdmi and even a vga resolution would be
sufficient in some uses.

Personally I'm happy with all our indirect interfaces ,as you do setup
with an web-UI you removed the hid
