Since you have tried the setup as you have had it before and it doesn't
work, I think you need to try doing something different than what it was
before.
What I would do is assign a static IP address (outside of the DHCP pool
of course) and ping the TP from a computer plugged in to the same

My router does b/g/n simultaneously. I would have to go in to the setup

I want to set up a Wifi 'N' network in our house, but apparently the
Squeezebox v. 3 is only compatible with up to b/g standard.
My Mac computer (server) is in another part of the house and is
connected to our current WiFi b/g network. Is it possible to hook the
Squeezebox v.3 to an ethernet rout
Hello - I've been enjoying iPeng 7 since it came out, and I'd like to
offer one small suggestion:
On the iPeng 7 iPhone app, the 4 vertical scroll dots that appear in the
New Music page appear all bunched together in the vertical center of the

My only suggestions are the ones you've tried (xlinx reset or factory
reset). You note that you connect a TOUCH to the same ethernet cable
and it works (thus testing your cable and that particular path back the

Found an MS KB article about changes in WOL behaviour in Win8(.1):

Basically, it says in Win8 there's a new power state called 'hybrid

supported. WOL is supported only from the sleep
Thanks for your input. It sounds like (from you and what I could google)
switching to old fashion FM radio is not going to make a big difference
unless the stream is very low bitrate (like the BBC streams).

This looks very promising - already shutdown the server netbook from my
mobile phone. Cool !
The settings page looks quite intimidating though.
I think to begin with I would just like to be able to
Sleep/Hibernate/Shutdown the server netbook from within
SqueezeCommander. Any tips as to how to do
