No sorry it did not help...I was saying thanks for the effort nothing

OK. It should usually only take a few seconds or minutes but e-mails

Well, all at ickstream currently isn't too many :) Those who have
admin access to the server can see the mail address you used to create
the ickStream account, not the account
Hi,
Upload is something like 10 MBits/second. At any rate, the bitrate to
this particular player is limited to 192 kBits/sec using the player
settings.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

But was my understanding correct that you can't access the server
settings at all? That's a server issue then, maybe someone in the LMS
part of the forum can help better with this, I don't really

I had a couple of RS120 and got myself the RS180. It's like night and
day. The RS180 are amazing. Much better sounding and they still have all
the goods of the RS120. I'd definitely opt for the RS180.

I had a similar problem a while back, and have not found a definite

I don't think it's power of the server in my case. It's a VM running on
an i5, so should have plenty of poke to hand LMS I'd have thought.
All evidence does suggest it's some kind of network issue. Wish the
client (or server) could be changed to retry when short glitches occur,
it'd be a lot
Using a pair of Sennheiser HD201s - cheap closed cans but nice sound -
plugged into a mk3 ipod touch with ipeng player.
Sounds better than the RS130s! No hiss at all.
Might have to rethink things a bit.
Ipeng on this version of ios will only run foreground but that isnt an

Have you asked in the LMS sub forum? I don't want to kill this off but
this is clearly not an ickStream issue and I don't want to discuss too
many non-ickStream issues here since people will come here if they have
issues with ickStream.
I'll keep an eye on the discussion in the other forum, too.
Real happy to see this show up so soon after Tidal's roll out. Very
nice!
Having trouble getting Tidal working with ickStream. Went through the
installation and configuration steps outlined in the wiki and everything
was pretty straightforward and worked without issue. Added Calm Radio,

Just trying this out for the first time and have a couple of Q's.
1) What's the difference between server_address and
squeezecenter_address?
2) I have lap_ip_mode set to 1 (DHCP) but lan_network_address always
shows as 0.0.0.0 - is this correct?
thanks
Thanks mherger, it's back up and working now. Was this a test in
preparation for total shutdown?
No. It was an artifact of the US centric thinking which seems to catch
even myself (I'm located in Switzerland)... The ROTW (Rest of the
world... anything outside the US) all too often is ignored.
