yep, it makes me sad too, given that this *should* be the announcement.
Squeezeboxes and LMS are still the premier way to deal with digital
music streaming.
p.s. Neil Young really did like Devo and had plans for recording with
them at some point.

As a WIMP-hifi user I have now access to Tidal too. But after having
added Tidal as a service and entered my account details, I can only see
and use Wimp through Ickstream.
I have tried with both Ickstream Cloud login and my Google login. Same
thing.
Another strange thing. None of my devices
If it's the Logitech app, it basically replicates the Duet Controller.
Works reasonably well. Squeeze Control and Orange Squeeze are better.
I prefer Squeeze Control.

LMS and its database are gonna fit into RAM on many setups. As RAM is
True, if you're running 7.9 and enable the maximum memory option. But
not so much with older versions.

I'm getting lots of buffering on Qobuz (UK) this evening; the service is
basically unusable.

Dining room: SB Boom.
Kitchen: SB Radio (1/3), with battery.
Bedroom 1: SB Radio (2/3), no battery.
Bedroom 2: SB3
The claim that an SSD allows for very fast scanning is highly
debatable.
LMS and its database are gonna fit into RAM on many setups. As RAM is
faster than an SSD, the SSD hardly matters. And music collections are
usually not on an SSD, so again the presence of an SSD doesn't make a
difference.
What kind of Deezer account do you have.

Hey i can't listen to any difference between deezer and tidal cos both
are in hi fi, in the menu it says flac. If i listen to deezer through
ickstream it says flac, if not, mp3, how is it possible?
