That is very very niche .
An updated Touch 2 and a new reciever 2 and boom 2 , there are tons of
stuff new hardware could do and new software . More massmarket more in

Yes in general,router placement can make big difference and also how the
antennas are directed . Some routers allow for different placement on
the side instead of flat on its bottom etc , worth experimenting with ,

Isn't it easier to add a DSD-capable DAC to a touch (or raspberry pi)?
That way you only need to change the DAC when the Next Great Format

Yes I do also hope it will be new software and not hardware. The watch,
especially the more expensive models are not really the sort

I figure that you're right. I'll get the folks from Verizon Tech
Support on the phone and see if they can walk me through shutting down
the IP on that one and just use the (far superior) signal off the Apple
Extreme and Express combo.
I'll spend some more time on the APPLE site as well. Perhaps
I wish they would. I'd like to see an updated Transporter that plays

WiFi router on top of cable router. It was hot as hell. After moving
it off and cooling all seems fine though I have my laptop close to the
WiFi router just now. Will move around to be sure later.

Well, may be just me but _I_ do sometimes change the volume using the
watch, for example when you are talking with guests and want to quickly
tune down (or up...).
My biggest problem with thins right now is not that it's slow but it
lacks granularity so I would actually love to be able to use the
