Well in my opinion there are 2 "good" streaming solutions today: google cast and airplay. And there is always BT audio, FWIW. I wish Roon good luck offering their software mojo to desperate hardware brands. 4 SB 3 • Libratone Loop mk.2 • iPeng (iPhone + iPad) • Squeezebox Server 7.9 (linux)

Have you considered in-ceiling speakers? In-ceiling speakers provide a lot of advantages: nice spread sound, almost invisible, no visible cabling etc. I've done that in the bedroom and am very happy with the result. Almost every brand has them in their lineup but I used speakers from Art
