In the garden, I use iPeng (with player turned on so that it emulates a
squeezebox player) on my iPhone. Then I use a bluetooth portable speaker
(JBL Charge 4) and stream from iphone to the speaker. I can synch the
iPeng player with my system in the house if I choose. Sounds great.

There are a few options available to you. Some already outlined.
It all depends on how much you like to play and also whether you have
decent wifi signal outside.
If you've got decent wifi outside then quite simply a SB Radio with
battery... still available to purchase second hand, with or

That's usually an easy fix. The 'jiggle' problem is usually that the
male center pin on the boom itself no longer mates
This is probably stating the obvious, but I presume you've tried a
different cable to confirm it's not that?
