If you're willing, you might try disabling some of the "WIFI 6" features

Pretty sure piCorePlayer is compatible with all of the HiFiBerry
DAC/DIGI HATs. There was a thread here regarding some issues with the
newest, expensive board, though. Search if that's the one in which
you're interested.
I don't think that BluOS supports DLNA/UPnP. Powernode 2i has both
analog and optical inputs so you could connect your SB that way. Pretty
sure you'd need LMS with Spotify plugin to be running somewhere on your
network to do what you've described.

Looks like you install it on both mysqueezebox.com and via LMS plugins

Try incorporating that FLAC decode step into your conversion. I think

"Sound quality" is an individual experience; only you can be the judge
of this. Both are worthy solutions and, under controlled conditions, I
doubt you'd be able to tell one from the other. It's been repeatedly
demonstrated, however, that "sound" quality is influenced by more than
sound waves
You could find it using an app like 'Advanced IP Scanner'
(https://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/). When you get it working again,
be sure to reserve the IP address in your router settings. That way it
will always stay on that address.
If you explain "dying" you might get some repair suggestions. It could
be a failing power supply.

- Buy a used one off eBay

If your Lyngdorf amp is one with "Chromecast built-in", you might give
the LMS Chromecast plugin a try. From what I've read, it can support up
to 24/192. Can't guarantee gapless or ReplayGain support with these
plugins, though, so you'll have to test that.

Ok, scanning has nothing to do with the player. You can unpower your
Duet and still do a rescan; just initiate it from a browser. You might
give this a try.
I'd offer that 73% in the same room is low. If wired is not possible,
have you considered Homeplug?

I am running Windows 10 Pro. I have both SqueezePlay and JiveLite
installed. They each will control any player on my network remotely.
They also can search my library and music services. Seems to do what
you want. That said, I typically use the LMS web interface for this
purpose. Material

OP, why don't you turn the old PC into a full-time server, stick it in a
closet, and keep running all that stuff on it? If it's doing the things

If you don't want those big RG values, you can amplify the files. Just
amplify each track by the same amount. 12dB should do it.

Sorry about the image, but vBulletin Android has a nasty habit of
deleting posts if you try to edit. Only way I could get it back.
The edit I was trying to make was to reinstall LMS "as administrator".
That should reset port settings.
Frustrating. Some things I'd try:
- Unsynchronize all players and see if better with just one playing
- Turn off everything; restart in order starting as far upstream as
possible, e.g. ONT/gateway or cable modem. Let each device fully start
before moving on. Touches should be last
