Great if your American - otherwise useless and very frustrating to hear

Hopefuly your tie up with LogiTech will mean you can get Rhapsody like

I already use A so would need LA and as SlimServer uses MySQL that makes

Because I use Jalbum and there is a skin that needs PHP for comments
that would make LAMP !
So day one would be LAM

Odd title I know, but.
I am about to reonovate my kitchen, at the moment I have an old Slimp3

In the new kitchen I would like soemthing neater i.e. less wires and

Does anyone have any expirence of running SlimServer on OpenSolaris
I am thinking of rebuilding my server (currently WinXP) as OpenSolaris
to make use of the ZFS RAID system. The server currently runs Apache

Thanks in advance

I couldn't agree more. I use the web interface for admin only. When on
my PC I actualy use SoftSqueeze in place of other media players. This
lets me Grab playlists from other players and means I only need to
learn the one interface.
The remote/payer interface works very well - I 1st
A very useful change for me would be the ability to
have player settings replicated accross all players taking into account the
different types (SoftSqueeze, Slimp3 and Squeezebox
flavours)

My favoured enhancement for 7 would be automatic de-duplication of
playlists. As disk space is cheap I do not worry about the multiple
copies of tracks. When building a playlist by adding favourite albums
it would be great if SlimServer removed the dupes - this would be
particularly useful

The problem with Real Audio is their rules that disallow transcoding and they
do not support an API.
The French are discussing a law that would force Real to allow other companies

RealAudio - DRM. Technialy it probably does not have DRM, I am not sure. But
the point of their licensing etc is to prevnt your from re-using/transcoding

As to the French - they are a little strange in many ways but on this point

I love your products (plug for referral scheme!) and have 3 of them around my

Sike,
PS: What about a slim video player?
for me the next big thing is a Slim like video player

It's a shame because I love the Slim products

Currently I have an old Pioneer DVD JukeBox which works well but is slow and

Talking of sales for SlimDevices..

Sean - could we have a system where by each referral translates to a discount
for the referer? Perhaps 50 referrals would equate to a free SB - whatever is
