doesn't alter how it streams at all (unlike in the
past).
I'm hoping this would offer some clue as to what's wrong. Any
suggestions gratefully received!

the issue again and returned to the solution that resolved it
(see here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47795).
Unfortunately, this time, the revised settings don't seem to improve
matters. Has anyone else found a solution, so I can get back to a
smooth scroll?!

I'm sure that would work, but I've got the machine hooked up to a set of
speakers through the phono/RCA jacks, so don't want to pull the thing
out each time and reconnect.
I'm sure there's simple config issue, if only I could get to the bottom
of it!
Thanks though.

despite making a similar ammendment for 7.2 I can't make it work.
Strangely, if I go to the Extras menu on the SB, it shows up, but when
I get the screen Click PLAY to run it and hit the play button,
nothing happens.

not really sure what the calculation is - and we're early in the month

Thanks!

I have a miniITX system connected by ethernet to a wifi router. The
machine has no built in wifi capability.
Could someone tell me how to set it up so that it uses the router (a
Linksys WRT54G) to broadcast streaming audio by wifi to my SB?
Thanks,

come across this? How do I fix it? I tried unplugging the power
supply, thinking this related to the box itself, but its had no
effect.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Like many here, I've set up my SB to scroll newscasts (e.g. BBC and NYT)
while music is playing. While I've found how to speed up the rate at
which the banner scrolls, it's annoying how juddery it runs. Does
anyone know of any tweaks to improve this?
Cheers,
Gus
