that is currently playing. If I search on a song a

Thanks, I've hung on to 7.3.3 for so long as it was the last version
where the Player via headphone jack worked well with the Controller.
Now that you (and iPeng) have enabled playback I guess it might be time
to upgrade (but I'm very afraid!)

I also think RG works great. From time to time, when I think a song or
album is too loud, it is usually because I forgot to apply RG to that
album when I obtained it.

One thing I forgot to add was that the Playbook seems to have incredible
wireless range. I was able to connect to my router that is in the
basement from the furthest point in my back yard (at least 80 feet away
through concrete basement walls) and even from across the street.

OK, I can now access my music. I used my Server IP address and the
default CLI Port of 9090.
I can select a song or album and tap the Play button, but nothing shows
in the current Playlist and my SB3 has not been turned on.

Success! I guess I was impatient and need to spend some time on the
interface. I can now play songs and my SB3 is on. Didn't realize that I
had to tap the ... to make something play.
I promise to play around and will advise how it goes.

I'm disappointed, but I understand. I specifically bought an iPod Touch
last December because iPeng playback was just around the corner. I
also want iPeng for iPad, but I think this time I'll wait until iPeng
for iPad is released before I buy the iPad. :)

Go to page 35 in your Denon 1910 manual and refer to: Correcting the
Input Sources Playback Level.
This setting allows you to reduce the volume of the CD input to match
the volume of the Duet.
Make sure that your Duet's volume is at 100 when doing this.

a separate catalog of albums created
after a certain date - sort of like an addendum. Can the app do this
using any of the available options or is this something new? Any other

I belive that the Boom connects directly to your server whereas the SB3
remote first communicates with the SB3 which then connects to your
server.
You could buy a Controller and have the best of both worlds!

I have an SB3. If I upgrade to Squeezecenter and purchase a Controller
can I freely use whichever remote does the task I want to do best?
E.g., can I use Lazy Search with the classic and then immediately use

Longer albums had to have their level reduced so that the squiggles on
the vinyl were narrower.
At least today we have tools like Replaygain to deal with these things
in the digital world!

I'd recommend you add a UPS - we get 1-second power outages weekly and
the UPS has greatly improved on things. You'd only need a very cheap
one for your SB.
