Yeah I would cleanse them so that you have just the v2 tags.
Also if you are using MusicIP with slimserver dont forget to rescan
with MusicIP first and then rescan slimserver afterwards.

Since Xmas I have noticed my BT unlimited broadband has become
increasingly slower and I live in the countryside where I expect
contention on the exchange is less :S (Though probably the kit isnt so
strong as a town exchange to start with?)

5m away on the
otherside of a 30cm thick flint wall, on top of the fridge with the
freezer in the way and still hits about 44% signal strength.
Works fine with no problems, so I completely disagree with your
comments about the quality of the antenna.

would recommend
that you temporarily disable any firewall/anti virus software you have
and run the install again, sometimes the install may appear to have
frozen but its actually doing stuff in the background so leave it for a
few minutes and hopefully it will complete :)

work in a company with an IT dept,
they always have cupboards of old laptops that arent flashy enough for
the salesguys but are perfect as a slim server, you dont need to shell
out on expensive hardware.

Can anybody give some figures on the power consumption of these amps

I would recommend the registry hack as it keeps everything running
together when they need to and brings them up in the right order when
you reboot.
