I Didn't know that you're using pcp. I don't know any commands that work
with this system.

I changed the server port to 9000. There's still no server listed. Is
there anything else I can do?

Yes, it's running on my QNAP-NAS. I'm listening to music at the moment.
Is there no way to enter the server ip manually? Maybe it's because QNAP
uses a different port (9001 instead of 9000)?

I would like to automatically turn off the Don't stop the music plugin
when playing a certain Genre. Is this possible with Tasker and
AutoSqueeze?

But automatically generated playlist I have with both services. The
repetory seems to be nearly the same as well (I was able to migrate all
of my favorite albums from Spotify to Deezer). The only differences are
that I can use Deezer on different Squeezeboxen at the same time and I
can use Deezer

So that's no advantage over Spotify anymore. What about listening to two
different streams at the same time. I can do that with Deezer, but can I
do this with Spotify? Are there any advantages Spotify has

I don't remember exactly why I switched from Spotify to Deezer about a
year ago. It had something to do with the flow feature or the smart
radio that was missing in Spotify.

That's strange. Flow doesn't work for me using ickstream. But it does
work using mysqueezebox.com - except for skipping a track. Through
ickstream a can see the flow playlist, but I can only play single
tracks, not
It would be interessting if someone with a Spotify account could upload
a screenshot of the Spotify Peter Garbriel smart radio playlist. I've
heard they have that smart radio thing, too.

I tried Deezer's Peter Gabriel Smart Radio again and it really looks
fine (except that Peter Gabriel's tracks are missing, but, as you said,
PG is hardly present at streaming). Don't know what went wrong with
you're Smart Mix, but your experience is definitely not the standard
with Deezer.

I thought it might be a problem with Peter Gabriel. I tried the Gabriel
Smart Radio and heard no track twice so far

I tried the Deezer Smart Radio for the last three hours and had not a
single repition. Do you really have a full Deezer acount or is this a
the free version?

Looks really bad. I hardly ever use the Smart Radio, but i'll will try
it and see if it's really that useless. btw: Is there a way to skip a
track in the Deezer Smart Radio. It always says: "Deezer Error, Skip
limit exceeded, you may skip again later."
Thanks for the hint. Seems like android user have to buy a new app every
two years.

Three apps? OrangeSqueeze and Squeeze Commander. Which one is the third?

I haven't tried for some time but I think it looses the connection as
soon as I turn on the screensaver or as soon as I use another app. The
connection will mostly be lost when I return to OrangeSqueeze or Squeeze
Commander. It takes not more than a few minutes or less.

It's not difficult to update to 7.8. It's difficult (but worth trying)
to update to 7.9. So just skip the steps that are just for the 7.9.
I can confirm that both apps work with LMS 7.9. I prefer OrangeSqueeze.
Squeeze Ctrl often crashes the LMS on smaller hardware like NAS. And
OrangeSqueeze looks much better. But on the other hand Squeeze
Ctrl seems to be the only app that is still under development.

Hello,
since LMS 7.9 supports the tags COMPOSER and CONDUCTOR I reorganized my
classical CDs. Is it possible to see this information on OrangeSqueeze's
"now playing screen", like I can see it in the Web interface?

In the Web-Interface I can see Composer (Jules Massenet), Conductor

In this case it's not a safer bet - Rhapsody won't work on a raspi!

Yes, but as far as I remember you can't use it on different RPi devices
with different Spotify streams (without syncing).
