I can't live without my SB's either, nor my family, we all depend on
them playing the music we like. Without hassle from cd's getting lost or
damaged.

Last few days i have problems connecting to the mp3tunes service. This
is the error message I get:
500 Can't connect to ws.mp3tunes.com:80 (connect: timeout)
Any clues? I changed the name of the musiclibrary on my SBS server, but
i don't know if that has to do with it.

I run it on a Sheevaplug, consumes just 3 watt. You can connect a usb
drive or mount any network share with your music files. No problems
serving 3 booms and a classic at the same time.

a very nice option i use is ampache (www.ampache.org), just use the
buildin flash player and you can play all your music files on any
computer with just a browser installed, no other programs needed.

it does not play flac via the flash player (flash does not support
flac). We need something similar

Tried the depicus site but no luck. I forwarded the ports and made a

I installed MusicIP in headless mode on my Xubuntu system. It starts up
and is now indexing my songs. In several places I read that it is good
practice to write the analysis to the tag, but i cannot find the place
where to activate this option.
