managed to
get back to the initial state I was in a few weeks ago. Somehow I need
to get the SBRs to connect to router #2 because at the moment their
connection to the weak #1 signal is resulting in rather stuttery
playback.

I would changed versions to 7.1 before I tried using the SCR again, so
that could be the problem. I have SC running on Linux:

the first is set to be a DHCP server. The only thing that I
have recently changed is that I have upgraded to SC 7.1 but I don't
think that this is the problem as the SBC never seems to connect to the
SC.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

wifi receiver. Since the receiver is wifi, no need for line of site to

Else). Could you try your experiment again with an artist not already
in your collection (e.g Joe Bloggs, for argument's sake). In this case,
I think you'll find no Joe Bloggs will appear in your collection.

I have an SB3 and a Duet and have never had a problem with FLAC. Is it
possible that the FLAC files themselves have been corrupted? Do they
all play ok locally on the PC (e.g. using foobar2000 or mplayer)?

What is your network set-up? I had similar problems when I had two
different wireless routers on different sub-nets. Once I forced them

The pattern is surname, e.g Otis *R*edding is in the R's for Redding.
Use some tagging software like mp3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en) and I
suspect you'll find these files have ARTISTSORT tags as well as
ARTIST.
