It's looks like its fixed in 7.1 now (it's had been there for a while
first 7.1 for me).
You have Album Sort Method under advanced settings:
Album

I deem the Year option pretty hard to use as Year tags is always wrong
from the getgo on most tag databases. People

Old discussion,

At some point some people will drop by and tell you that something in

I don't know about others who've shelled out for a Duet, but I'm amazed
and frankly highly annoyed that SD/Logitech would think fit to release
a Controller that doesn't support changing the sort order for browsing
albums. *To whit: the current implementation of the album browse on
the Controller
Did I smoke too much weed in my youth or is it reasonable to assume
that Artist/Album is how most of us would choose something to listen
to?
That's why there is the Browse by Artist mode, isn't it? I fully agree with
you: I use it all the time. No need to scroll through hundreds of albums.
why not browse by artist ? there they are sorted as artist/albums ?
Just as you want it go there select an artist then you find that

Agreed, but as soon as you choose the Artist browse, you kiss your
artwork goodbye until you choose an Artist. The way it works on SC
whereby you can browse Albums, but sorted by Artist, is (to my way of
thinking) a far more convenient way of doing

Who needs artwork when browsing? - having a larger number of
artists/titles onscreen is a lot more efficient on any moderately large
library

I do. If I wanted to browse a text list I have 5 SB3's and IR remotes
to do that job quite admirably. I didn't

I'm beginning to. At least fixing this is on the enhancement list,
otherwise I'd most definitely return the Controller. All in all it's
been quite a disappointment. Any progress with a native iPeng for the
iPhone/ Touch?
