Yeah, I tried to follow that link but, franky, completely failed to grasp what I was meant to do with the ZIP file. In the end, I worked out that I could tick "Show all 3rd Party plugins" in SBS/Plugins and there it showed up. I could then simply install by ticking, followed by a restart of SBS.

The Bookmark plugin is also used by my girlfriend for her audiobooks - it's possible to store up to 11 different bookmarked playlists with the system - and if not already within Squeezebox Server it can be found here http://kdfplugins.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/repo.xml -- tipsen

@AndyG: Well, there are any number of challenges with that implementaion: (1) The over-loading of the track skip buttons (on the remote) with the track pointer feature is unpleasant to work (if your (little) finger jitters a bit, then you did not quite hold it down long enough for the SB to under

Is the OP referring to automatic bookmarking? I've never even considered this with my Squeezeboxes so don't know whether it's an existing feature, but I certainly remember it being a useful feature (for these very same books) on my kids' MP3 players. -- chill --
