Looks like you have a network/router issue because if the URL had been
fetched properly I think the title would have changed to SomaFM: Groove
Salad and not just Groovesalad.
Can your player connect to mysqueezebox.com ?

I don't think it is, because I can connect to 70%
Well if the display is exactly as you indicated (i.e. no SomaFM on
display ) and the same URL works OK when player is connected directly to
mysb.com - then it indicates there is a problem with your SBS on
ReadyNAS.
Since 70% of stations work - you need to find out what is the common
factor

You need to note the playlist format as well the audio format as I know
of one bug in relation to ASX playlist with non WMA streams.

what do you mean? (Rather how do I check them?)
Also updated my previous post a bit.

Those are both AAC format streams but I think on ReadyNAS AAC
transcoding is not enabled so the streams won't play.
I think this is a bug in SBS as it should not be requesting an AAC
stream from RadioTime. The AAC request is preventing you getting a
playable WMA streams.
So try using these URL
Those work, is there anyway I can disable the AAC for streaming?
(I was able to disable it for fileformats, but that didn't have any
effect on the streaming.)

I don't think disabling AAC is a solution as it will already be disabled
on ReadyNAS (check WebUI Settings/Advanced/Filetypes- the solution is
for SBS not to ask for AAC if it can't support it or at least not have
AAC as the first choice.
That said, I don't think AAC disabled is full answer to

Don't bother disabling WMA.
If Groovesalad works on the URL I gave, that's good.
You problem will occur with any station that offers AAC or AAC+ formats
as well as MP3 and/or WMA - which is usually true of the popular
stations. Groovesalad (in fact all SomafM stations) is one of those.

I've reproduced the problem. It will occur when there is no transcoding
support for both AAC and WMA - as is normal on ReadyNAS but will also
happen on Linux or OSX systems which are not supported by Logitech and
do not have faad installed.
I'll file a bug for it. In the meantime all I can

Can you access any internet radio stations via Squeezebox Server? If
not, have you tried stopping the Squeezebox server and then restarting
it (alternatively rebooting your server)? What sometimes happens is
that Squeezebox Server starts up before the box running it has an
internet connection
Another user of ReadyNAS has noticed that WMA streams do not play on
Boom even though they should. They get the unable to play message.
Can you play the following stream
http://somafm.com/wma/groovesalad.asx
If then it looks like the same problem.

For some reason I don't have internet radio anymore on my Transporter. I
can stream music just fine, but the entire internet radio option is
gone. Out of it's own menu and in the web control utility I only have
the option Tune in URL under internet radio. All the stations are
gone. And the
I've just installed the latest Squeezecentre on Ubuntu and I've found
the internet radio area on my Squeezebox is gone. On the server, the
only thing listed is Tune in URL and there are no options for RadioIO,
Live365 et al.
Am I missing something?

You need to be registered on Squeezenetwork and have entered your SN
details into SC before the Internet Radio Items appear. After entering
the SN detail - restart SC.

You may just need to stop and start SqueezeCenter when you reboot to
get around the issue.
sudo /etc/init.d/squeezecenter [start | stop | restart]
