I just really dislike pay-as-you-go things. There's enough companies
diving into my pockets every month (cable, Internet, phone, mobile
phone, car insurance, house insurance, rent, car financing, gas,
electricity, water, sewer...) Oh and of course all these things go up,
never down.

The thing that interested me was the link with B&O...and the design of
the unit. A lot of people like the idea of a unit that is pure plug and
play.
I think the interface of the TouchDiva as displayed in the website
requires too many touches to get to where you want. The Squeezecenter

So the same as Rhapsody, but the (dedicated) player costs e750? Doesn't
sound like much of a deal to me. That's an expensive paperweight
if/when the service closes down. At least with SB/Sonos/whatever you
can still use it if one of the music services goes away.

Here's a system from Denmark, amplification is using B&O Ice
technology. 750 euros or so for the player and 10 euros a month for all
the music you will ever want (or so the blurb says anyway!):
