I moved LMS to picore a while back, and am no expert on windows, but

I can't help I'm afraid apart from Saying that having run LMS in Windows
for a number of years I got frustrated with the occasional loss of
settings and other glitches that I have switched to piCoreplayer which
seems a lot more stable.
