Interim solution:
I resurrected an old Shuttle xs35 and after many hours reinstalling Win
10 finally got it working again - it's an Atom D525 so it's rather
slow.
I can use this until there's a decent offer on Amazon - I like the sound
of the Mele Quieter2D Mini PC Celeron N4020.

Depending on the size of your library, I'd recommend at least an i3

Why Windows 10? Why not a Linux based machine - generally far more
reliable for LMS only - it could be a Pi with pCP
