Yeah, wipe cache seem to be the only way to get SlimServer to notice the
updated music folder.
The running of the scan never seems to stop though...but I checked the
folder even if the text was still displayed saying SlimServer was
scanning the music library or something. And it was updated.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure where that setting is offhand, perhaps in
the web interface under Server
wipe cache is located in server settings-performance
it should only be used as last resort since it triggers a complete rescan of
everything from an empty database.

I wonder if this can be the problem: My FLAC files are in folders with
individual names (artist and concert and date) but a lot of the FLAC
files have the same name, just like Track01,
Track02 etc
Please don't let this be a problemhopefully there's away around it
