Sorry I don't have a daily build for you, but if you are desperate for a
working 6.5 pre-instability, you can always use subversion to checkout
the exact version that you want.

hi Peter-
let me see what I can answer for you...some questions will be easier
than others.
1) I run 6.5 and have never had a problem with the remote--did you
install the latest nightly? I've been holding on updating my slimserver
while they work out the kinks of some changes to the back-end
I installed 6.5 on 5-31 I will see if it works this evening.
I will incorporate all of your advice this evening as I have not been
able to log onto the wireless network here.
I am not sure I understand the Album art issue, so I will tinker around
and maybe post another question.
Another bug
No clue on the XM thing...don't use it.
I expect you will get a lot better behavior of plugins and extensions
like XM if you back off to Slimserver 6.2. 6.5 works well for me but is
still pre-release, so the t's aren't quite crossed and the i's aren't
quite dotted. Of course, there is no
'This' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?AlbumArtwork) page from
the wiki may help you out on the Album Artwork issue.
And if you do back off to 6.2 or 6.3.0 (which is pre-release but a lot
more stable than 6.5), you may find the handheld skin is good enough
for use on the 770.
