I found when downgrading from 6.5 to be safe it is best to delete
everything include prefs files, caches and database and then
re-install.

Well - I've deleted everything I can find and reinstalled - no apples.
Exactly the same problem. Even going back to the latest 6.5b1 nightly
has the same problem.
Unfortunately, all this un/reinstalling seems to have impacted the web
interface also - most of the formatting of the pages has

Seems like i missed the Users/yourname/Library/Caches/SlimServer
director on my uninstall quest. Everything working now.
