[slim] Slimserver 6.5.1 keeps stopping

I'm running SS on a Windows XP machine with all the service packs and upgrades with 1Gb RAM. I use the iTunesUpdate plugin to write to the iTunes database everytime i play a song. This set up has worked frequenlty and flawlessly for a long time. Lately, slimserver stops for no apparent reason.

thanks, Mark. I can't find anywhere in my virus scanner (McAfee) to ignore files of a certain type. I can ignore/trust programs, but i don't see anywere to indicate file types. what do you think is causing the problem? BTW, i just upgraded the lastest 6.5.1 build (i noticed i was using a

Hmmm...the interesting thing is that my virus scanner was definitely not scanning when this happened, unless some form of real time protection somehow was stopping it. Curious that it happened only intermittently. if the real time protection was stopping it, i would expect it woudl stop it on
