If by the console you mean the web interface, you should be able to go
to Settings - Players - (select the player) - (select the Audio
menu). The top few settings all relate to sync.

No need to go to Settings.
Select Synchronise from the choose Player drop down at Top RHS.
You will get a popup window.
If you want to sync players - check the players to be synced.
If you want to unsync players - uncheck the players to be taken out of
sync.
Then click Synchronize.

Hi bpa -
I tried that method. It made some sense since that was how I got them
to sync in the first place. Unfortunately, unchecking and clicking
sync did nothing. I have originally thought that the two players were
no playing the same stream but independently, but when I press pause,

Of course, from a UI design perspective, I thing it would be a little
more intuitive if there was an more obvious unsync button. On the
player side, using the remote the unsync process seems a little more
obvious albeit buried in the settings...
Maybe it is a bug
Ok - I've looked but can't seem to find how to stop various players from
sync'ing. I have a SB3 playing and added two SoftSqueeze players.
Sync'ing worked. It wasn't clear from the interface how to detach a
specific unit and/or all units from being sync'd.
Hopefully this wasn't obvious in
So I found one option via the remote on the SoftSqueeze/Settings menu.
It would be good to have something on the SqueezeCenter console since
you can add them, you should be able to selectively remove them.
Also, I've removed the Settings menu from my SB3 to avoid a novice from
tinkering.. Thus
