I've reverted back to v6.5 because I also use the Mac Mini to run as a
web server, email server webdav server and more. I don't have the time
to update it to 10.4 or 10.5 and go through the hassle of getting it all
working again... If it ain't broke - don't fix it!

Two thoughts. Upgrade your OS to 10.4.11 and upgrade the SC software to
7.0.1

Thanks for your advice, but I've already tried all of your suggestions
with no luck:
- I've rescanned my library from scratch
- Javascript is enabled in my browsers (Safari FireFox)
- I've flushed the browser cache and tried to force a reload of the
pages
- I've uninstalled and reinstalled

where by 95% of the time the graphics on web interface do not load
properly. In fact the graphics don't seem to load at all.

squeezecenter is using java for some of the web pages.
JavaScript yes, but no Java (except for SoftSqueeze).
