Thanks for the reply, I have tried everything again double checking all the steps as suggested. Everything does seem to be 'going through the motions' but no sound. I am still unable to adjust the volume slider in the player window and it defaults to the lowest setting (1 segment). Is there

This would be really cool if you can figure it out. I have an HTC P4000 (also called a Titan, 6800 and a whole bunch of other things depending on where you live) and it would be awesome if I could stream my 1000 album ALAC collection to it. My iPod would then be relegated to flying duties only!

on the device you need to have a media player playing 192.168.5.254:9010/stream.mp3 to get the audio. Once you have connected to that you can create a playlist for that player. I don't think volume adjustment has any effect on remote streams, that is all down to the player of the stream. --
