the years and its gotten a lot worse just in the last few days. I do run
the SQCenter 7.3.2 over wifi to a Squeeze box and use the latest

DrewSB,
You do not say what version of SC you are running or what hardware and
OS.
Does you server running SC go to sleep when not being used? If so

Synchronization isn't really supported with software players - that
includes the Controller's player, Softsqueeze, SqueezePlay or
squeezeslave.
People claim to use synch with the software players, but the results
are varied. I've tried between hardware players and squeezeslave, but

Sounds like the problem I had last year, which was due to the drift on
the system clock of the pc running squeezecenter. Details are here:

Try restarting squeezecenter
My players sync up perfectly when squeezecenter has not been running
for very long (say, less than a week) but gradually become offset from
each other if the server's been up for much longer. Starting, stopping,
unsyncing, resyncing etc has no effect on this but a
Thanks guys. Muggy, you were right about Squeezecenter needing a
restart. I did that and it is perfectly in sync now.
Yesterday I would say it was around half a second off. This morning it
was about a full second off before I restarted Squeezecenter.

I've just filed a bug for this:

What kind of hardware are you running squeezecenter on?
Anyone else experiencing similar?

Usually sync works perfectly, but a couple times (like this morning) it
is a split second off. I have tried stopping both players and unsyncing
and then resyncing.
My Boom is connected to my Squeezecenter via Wifi.
My SB2 is connected to my Squeezecenter via a network cable.
