OK, I figured it out. Seems the podcast plugin has been changed, and it
no longer reads from the podcast tab. I have to go onto the logitech
site to update my podcasts.

I am not quite clear on how to enter podcasts feeds. What type of file
or link am I looking for? I am trying to add The Deadpod
(http://deadshow.blogspot.com/) but cant seem to get the right feed.

I can't seem to find a feed on the site. However, Mediafly seems to
have this podcast in their directory. You could set up an account on
MediaFly and then access it through the Squeezecenter Mediaflky app.
Podcast.com also shows this podcast. I believe you can set up a custom
feed on
I've recently moved my configuration to a new box and I'm running SC
7.3. SC recognizes my podcasts, but when I hit play it thinks for a
moment and then says it can't play the file.

I have my squeeze box for almost two years. I use it a lot for Podcasts
using the standard Podcast plugin.
My problem is that sometimes the podcast ends abruptly half way
through.

Podcasts can be FFWD in 7.2 onwards but only if the Podcast broadcaster

Is it true to say that m4a would normally/always be expected to contain
more than just audio? If that's the case maybe it would be useful to
have a warning generated when adding this type of (or even any format
not guaranteed to be audio only) podcast, to alert the user to

The assault on the ears is the fault of the decoder which should not
be taking a video stream and making it audible. Mplayer can be set to
discard video in m4a files - what
