Solved the problem with the ickstream plugin and HDD spindown on my My
Book Live NAS by installing LMS with the pluin on a Raspberry Pi with
remote mount to the music library on the NAS instead.

Yes, we plan to eventually support that and technically it would be
possible today, albeit not easily done and I'm not sure it's applicable
in practice, yet (Spotify currently relies on the Spotify Protocol
Handler plugin, which uses the account configured there and Deezer
family doesn't work
I would like to be able to use multiple accounts (family accounts) of
either tidal or Spotify. Any plans on implementing this on ickstream?
It is currently possible through the official Spotify app but I don't
know for how long that will work.

services on a Touch using ickStream as a backend, it's to use the Touch
as an ickStream device.
You would have to use an ickStream controller to use it that way, too.

I cannot add more than 200 Todal tracks at a time to current playlist. I
am running LMS 7.9 and Ickstream.
I have no limit to the length of the playlist in LMS and it is not a
problem to have very long playlist (>1000 tracks).

Just wanted to report how easy it was to install ickstream to access
Tidal.
I am lucky enough to have a Naim SuperUniti. The latest firmware update
brought Tidal into the Naim App and offered a 90 day free trial of Tidal

I tried to install ickStream in LMS. The ickStream app appears under my
