Why not be able to offer them to the members here first? I would like
that myself if I was in the market. Even if I wasn't it might be
something I would tell my friends about. I've seen other things
offered here and it hasn't been abusive. I would think this would be
the place to first offer

I respect Logitechs wishes and that's why I asked in the first place.
I should have asked Michael to pull the thread, but I kind of thought
he would anyway. Posting it in the rules or FAQ's is the right thing
