You might want to clear your temporary folders and reinstall SlimServer.

Unistalled completely slimserver, cleaned the c:\windows\temp folder
and then reinstalled it.
That's very probably not the temporary folder you need. Open a DOS window
and run set. You should then see two values for tmp and temp. Clean
these.
